MVO policy on Corona virus (Covid-19) MVO has taken the following precautions to proactively control the risks of the corona virus.

MVO takes the advices of the Dutch government, GGD and RIVM into account.

  • Traveling of MVO employees to the Covid-19 risk areas indicated by the RIVMNational Coordination Center for Traveler Advice and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are not permitted for the time being.
  • At the moment, MVO sees no reason to avoid or cancel meetings and / or events.
  • The currently scheduled meetings and events will continue as usual, taking the following measures into account:


All MVO (working group) meetings can be attended via video conferencing (StarLeaf).

MVO asks potential visitors to adhere to the following:

If you or someone on your network has recently traveled to Covid-19 risk areas or there may have been other exposure risks, we request that you do not attend the meeting other than by video conference. MVO will register all attendees to meetings. This may be important to check if someone has any symptoms of the corona virus.


All employees and visitors are requested to follow the advice of GGD and RIVM seriously. These recommendations concern:

  • Wash your hands regularly and well.
  • Cough and sneeze in the inside of your elbow.
  • Use paper tissues.
  • MVO has introduced "greeting without touch" at work. That is, avoiding shaking hands and other direct contact.
