Competition Law Code of Conduct
MVO, the chain organisation for oils and fats, considers a properly functioning, competitive market environment essential and limits its responsibilities to realising favourable preconditions for the entire sector and to providing information. A code of conduct was developed to prevent MVO from becoming involved in discussions or decisions that are inconsistent or in conflict with the rules of competition law. This code of conduct describes the way in which MVO implements the rules of competition law. The code serves as a guideline for anyone involved in the activities of the association: employees of the association, but also members of the Management Board, working groups and project groups who are employed by the association's member companies and partners 'participants'). They are obliged to report (suspected) violations to the Director, who, if necessary, will notify the Management Board and obtain external legal advice in consultation. In case of a manifest violation of the code of conduct or competition law, the Board can take measures with respect to the involved parties.

The code of conduct will be changed in accordance with relevant amendments to competition law or the ACM Business Collaboration Guidelines. Click here to view the Code of Conduct.
