Op www.friturenindehoreca.nl vindt u de recentste informatie over de activiteiten in het kader van de campagne Verantwoord Frituren, vloeibaar frituurvet en de spelregels voor verantwoord frituren. Op www.vetzuursamenstelling.nl vindt u alle informatie over achtergrond, de plannen en de activiteiten van de Task Force Verantwoorde Vetzuursamenstelling.
 
 Scientific research  

The Product Board MVO keeps up close with developments concerning health effects of fats and fat dissolvable vitamins. This is done in different ways. First of all, scientific literature is accurately monitored. Abstracts of new scientific publications are bundled each month in the (English) MVO newsletter ‘Literature Releases on Fats and Health’.

If scientific literature gives good reasons to (re)assess certain organizational viewpoints (like for instance about health effects of trans fatty acids, esterification, vitamin D, saturated fatty acids), then such is carried out in suitable publications and/or at events. Secondly, MVO stays in contact with several universities, government bodies and agencies and research institutes to stay involved with new developments and insights. MVO is furthermore a participant in the Food Centre’s Fund for Professional Chairs.
