 Trade Policy

In this section MVO provides you with information about a wide range of trade policy and related topics, such as:

Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) between the EU and third countries and in particular the product specific tariff concessions for oils and fats which are laid down in these trade arrangements.

Generalised System of Preferences (GSP) and in particular the product specific tariff concessions which the EU applies to the import of products - including oils and fats - originating in developing countries, such as Argentina, Brazil, Ukraine, Russia, India, China and the Philippines.

EU tariff suspensions for oils and fats that enable companies - especially the oleo-chemical industry - to import certain raw materials duty free into the European Union.

Customs duty related decisions that have been taken by the EU or third countries and that may affect the EU trade in oilseeds, oils and fats.
