In a Quick Scan a (potentially) interesting MVO market is scrutinized in relation to five clear-cut chapters, i.c.:

- Oilseeds: production, sales, international trade;
- Oils and fats: production (incl. companies), sales and international trade;

To compose this Quick Scan (in English) the Product Board MVO uses an elaborate network with statistical bureaus in the countries which are being researched and consultancy companies which are able to provide figures which are often hard to get. The Quick Scans are distributed throughout the year.
