The fact sheets rape, soy and palm oil are aimed at providing insight in the most striking developments in world production and consumption of and trade in these oilseeds, oils and oil meals. Special attention is paid to the EU and the Dutch position herein.

In these reports attention is also paid to the role of genetic modification, trade policy and sustainability, issues which have a major influence on world production and trade in the aforementioned products, and the use of rapeseed oil, soybean oil and palm oil for biodiesel now and in the future.

Also prognoses have been made about world trade in and production of these oilseeds and oils until 2019.
