The product board MVO stimulates food safety throughout the entire oils and fats chain and operates in this as an initiator, platform and information desk for MVO companies. In cooperation with the sector MVO has drafted risk analyses for all vegetable and animal oils and fats which are used in the food and feed industry.

Apart from that MVO is a centre of knowledge concerning legislation and additional rules for (among others) pesticide residues, contaminants and veterinary issues (animal fats and fish oil).
