MVO promotes Good Agricultural Practices in South America
After setting up activities meant to stimulate Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) in Hungary in 2010, the Product Board MVO recently set up a brochure on Pesticide Management designed for farmers and storage companies in Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay.

MVO food safety course fully booked 
Enrolment for the MVO course "Food Safety of Vegetable Oils and Fats" from 24 to 26 April 2012 is not possible anymore, since the maximum number of participants has been reached.  Legislation  

Under this heading you will find an overview of Dutch and European legislation about food safety which is of concern to the oils and fats sector. You will also find information about rules which apply in Codex (world level).

The product board is represented in different forums where future legislation concerning the mentioned subjects is discussed. In doing so, MVO tries to contribute to the passage of legislation which can be enforced in a workable way in practice.
