MVO promotes Good Agricultural Practices in South America
After setting up activities meant to stimulate Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) in Hungary in 2010, the Product Board MVO recently set up a brochure on Pesticide Management designed for farmers and storage companies in Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay.

MVO food safety course fully booked 
Enrolment for the MVO course "Food Safety of Vegetable Oils and Fats" from 24 to 26 April 2012 is not possible anymore, since the maximum number of participants has been reached. In relation to quality and food safety MVO issues two electronic newsletters.

 

The MVO Newsletter Quality and Safety (in English) treats all subjects for both vegetable oil and animal fat companies strictly related to food and feed safety issues, like risk analyses, contaminants, food/feed safety standards and legislation on these subjects.

 

MVO companies which are interested in this Newsletter Quality and Safety may contact Mrs. Annette Klomp, e-mail klomp@mvo.nl.

 

The Newsletter Animal Fat Legislation (in Dutch) specifically targets veterinary legislation and rules which are of importance to the animal fats companies, with subjects like the Animal By-Products Regulation, BSE Regulation and export certificates for products of animal origin.
