MVO promotes Good Agricultural Practices in South America
After setting up activities meant to stimulate Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) in Hungary in 2010, the Product Board MVO recently set up a brochure on Pesticide Management designed for farmers and storage companies in Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay.

MVO food safety course fully booked 
Enrolment for the MVO course "Food Safety of Vegetable Oils and Fats" from 24 to 26 April 2012 is not possible anymore, since the maximum number of participants has been reached. MVO stimuleert Good Agricultural Practices in Zuid-Amerika
Na het opzetten van activiteiten om Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) onder de aandacht te brengen in Hongarije, heeft het productschap MVO recentelijk een brochure betreffende 'Pesticide Management' opgezet voor boeren en opslagbedrijven in Argentinië, Brazilië, Paraguay en Uruguay.

De folder is vertaald in het Spaans en Portugees en is verspreid via brancheorganisaties en overheidsorganisaties. Ook is de brochure onder de aandacht gebracht van diverse agrarische tijdschriften in de betreffende landen. Daarnaast dragen bedrijven uit de MVO-achterban met vestigingen in Zuid-Amerika bij aan de verspreiding.

Het GAP-initiatief wordt ondersteund door het Comité van Graanhandelaren, COCERAL, UNISTOCK en FEDIOL.
