MVO promotes Good Agricultural Practices in South America
After setting up activities meant to stimulate Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) in Hungary in 2010, the Product Board MVO recently set up a brochure on Pesticide Management designed for farmers and storage companies in Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay.

MVO food safety course fully booked 
Enrolment for the MVO course "Food Safety of Vegetable Oils and Fats" from 24 to 26 April 2012 is not possible anymore, since the maximum number of participants has been reached.  MVO working groups  

In order to develop sector policy for food and feed safety issues of importance to the oils and fats industry and trade which connects to the companies’ needs, the product board has set up several working groups.

In these MVO Working Groups trends and developments are discussed, existing policy is assessed and new policy is debated. Each working group focuses on a specific theme and is composed of experts working in the (sub) sector and specialized in that particular theme.
