MVO promotes Good Agricultural Practices in South America
After setting up activities meant to stimulate Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) in Hungary in 2010, the Product Board MVO recently set up a brochure on Pesticide Management designed for farmers and storage companies in Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay.

MVO food safety course fully booked 
Enrolment for the MVO course "Food Safety of Vegetable Oils and Fats" from 24 to 26 April 2012 is not possible anymore, since the maximum number of participants has been reached.  Normalisatie  

Het productschap financiert de normcommissie plantaardige en dierlijke oliën en vetten van de NEN (Nederlands Normalisatie-instituut) namens het Nederlandse betrokken bedrijfsleven. Voor de mondiale handel in oliën en vetten is het van groot belang om te beschikken over breed gedragen analysemethoden zowel voor de bepaling van kwaliteitsparameters als contaminanten.

Nederland is projectleider aangaande de analyse van N-alkanen uit minerale oliën en stuurt daarnaast twee ISO-projecten aan op het terrein van de bepaling van PAK's (Polycyclische Aromatische Koolwaterstoffen).

MVO nam in 2008 -namens de NEN- deel aan de bijeenkomsten van de ISO technische subcommissie dierlijke en plantaardige oliën en vetten (TC34/SC11) en die van de ISO technische subcommissie voor oliezaden en melen (TC34/SC2).
