MVO promotes Good Agricultural Practices in South America
After setting up activities meant to stimulate Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) in Hungary in 2010, the Product Board MVO recently set up a brochure on Pesticide Management designed for farmers and storage companies in Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay.

 EFSA opinions  

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) advices the European Commission about requests that are made for new crops and techniques, requests for changes in legislation and policy issues related to food and feed quality and safety.

It studies and judges the information which has been provided by the requesting company. Its judgments with their argumentations are published in so-called EFS Opinions.

Under this heading you may find EFSA Opinions – and some advices of its predecessor the Scientific Steering Committee – which are of importance to the animal fats and vegetable oils sector.
