The Working Group Sustainable Development meets three times a year. Its target is inform companies about the latest state of play in regard to sustainable development. MVO offers the most recent developments within the round tables (the round table for responsible soy, RTRS, and the round table for sustainable palm oil, RSPO) and several national and international items (legislation and rulings) concerning energy saving and climate policy.
Furthermore, new subjects which ask for growing attention may be put forward for discussion. Finally, the working group has a function as a platform for sharing knowledge and experience.
Next meetings
The Working Group Sustainable Development will hold its next meetings in March and November 2010.
