MVO op VMT-Food Event: Duurzame Palmolie, een bewuste keuze

MVO published an article on sustainable palm oil (in Dutch) in VMT Magazine, a Dutch magazine on food and food manufacturing. The article underlines the importance of sustainable palm oil. Invitation to meet West-African trade mission on 11 May
Sunsia, an organisation aiming at stimulating trade between West Africa and the EU, is organising a trade mission of producers of vegetable oilseeds in West Africa. The mission will visit the Netherlands from 9-13 May. Companies active in the Dutch oils and fats sector are invited to meet the members of the delegation on 11 May. Dutch cabinet supports Oxfam Novib campaign for sustainable cocoa
The Dutch government considers the Oxfam Novib campaign 'Groene Sint' as a success *). In December 2009 Oxfam Novib started a campaign to promote the use of fair trade chocolate in 'Santa Claus chocolate letters'. In de meeste recente uitgave van het VMT magazine is een artikel verschenen over duurzame palmolie, geschreven door het Productschap Margarine Vetten en Oliën. In het artikel wordt benadrukt dat duurzame palmolie ruimschoots voor handen is op de markt en dat bedrijven die palmolie verwerken het verschil kunnen maken door bewust te kiezen voor duurzame palmolie.   Lees meer
