 Working conditions

Working conditions to a large part determine the way in which employees in the oils and fats industry do their work. European and Dutch legislation and other rulings concerning working conditions, often abbreviated to 'Arbo legislation', is directed at offering a safe and healthy working environment to the employees.

There are, for instance, rules for correctly arranging the immediate working space, safety rules for machines and tools, rules to avoide too heavy physical charges and so on.

An overview of the current Arbo legislation (in Dutch) may be found under the head 'legislation', under Arbo regelgeving.
